a day to remember
If you’re reading this welcome to my website! Thanks for stopping by. If you looking for a Durban wedding photographer with a natural relaxed approach to capturing real moments as they happen, then I’m your guy. When I'm not shooting weddings I'm spending time with engaged couples or families. I shoot photo and video, and here on my site you’ll find samples of both. Have a look around, and if you like what you see drop me a message and lets meet up over coffee!
Shaun's presence on our wedding day was so infectious! He is professional yet so much fun at the same time. The photos he has provided us are nothing short of spectacular and we will cherish them forever. He has a very special way of capturing the energy of the day perfectly.
TAMRYN ST CLAIR
Durban wedding photographer. The man behind the camera. Husband, father and recreational gym goer. When I'm not photographing weddings I'm spending time with my little family or chilling with friends playing Exploding Kittens.
Having your wedding day photographed is a must, but a video tells a story like no other. Click on the image above to view a sample of my work.
How many hours do you shoot for at a wedding?
I'm not a stickler for time. Weddings can be unpredictable and sometimes run behind schedule. Typically I spend 10-12 hours at a wedding.
How many images do you deliver per wedding?
I find on average I deliver between 450-650 high resolution edited images. I use a combination of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop as my editing tools.
What gear do you use?
I'm a Sony user. My main body is the Sony a7iii with my backup camera being the a6500. I shoot with the Tamron 28-75mm 2.8, the Sony 85mm 1.8 and the Samyang 35mm 2.8
Turn around time for delivery of images?
I do my best to aim for about 6-8 weeks. However it totally depends on the time of year and workload. I always like to get out sneak peeks to Facebook as soon as I can though!
